MIND EDITION
You rarely get to change the circumstances.
You always get to choose the response.
That is not comfort. That is the entire work.
The next pages hold fifteen sentences. None of them will do anything to you. They only remind you of something you already know.
Take one. Leave the rest.

Life is no Battle, it's a Game
In preparation
- 01
Start with yourself
It is tempting to point at other people. Sometimes they even deserve it.
It still changes nothing.
The only lever you reliably hold is you.
- 02
Thoughts are not facts
Your head produces sentences all day. Most of them are wrong.
You don't have to fight them. You just don't have to believe them.
Ask once a day: do I know this, or am I thinking it?
- 03
The first thought isn't yours
Whatever comes first is habit. Twenty years old, well rehearsed.
The second thought is yours.
Wait for it. It arrives slower and it is smarter.
- 04
Attention is your scarcest currency
You don't have too little time. You sell your attention too cheaply.
Everything that pulled at you today took what you needed somewhere else.
Decide on purpose who gets it.
- 05
You become what you repeat
Character is not a decision. Character is a statistic.
It is not the grand resolution that counts. It is what you do on the third tired Tuesday.
Choose the repetition, not the intention.
- 06
Comparison is stolen time
You compare your daily life to what other people display. That is not a fair trade.
And even if it were fair, it moves you exactly nowhere.
Compare yourself to yourself, one year ago. That is the only measurable version.
- 07
Calm is a skill
Calm is not a state you have. It is something you practise.
Nobody becomes calm because life gets quieter. It never gets quieter.
One breath before you answer already counts as training.
- 08
Say it out loud
Unsaid things grow. Every time.
What you carried around for three weeks usually takes four minutes once it's spoken.
Find a person. Not the internet.
- 09
Boundaries are kindness
A clear no is kinder than a yes you don't keep.
People without boundaries don't get more popular. They get less dependable.
Draw them early. Later it becomes a conflict.
- 10
You owe nobody an instant answer
The device in your pocket says otherwise.
There is a gap between the trigger and your reaction. The gap belongs to you.
It grows every time you use it.
- 11
The body gets a vote
Sleep, movement, water, daylight. Four boring things.
They decide more about your head than any method you sign up for.
When nothing works, go outside. It's not a solution, but it is a start.
- 12
Small promises to yourself
Trust in yourself is built the way trust in others is: by keeping your word.
Promise something so small that failing would be embarrassing. Then keep it.
Thirty days later you talk about yourself differently.
- 13
Gratitude is a practice
The feeling is not the point. The repetition is.
Three things in the evening, specific, from this day. Not „my health“. The coffee at half past six.
It doesn't change the day. It changes what you remember of it.
- 14
Let people help
Getting through it alone is not a virtue. Usually it is pride with better PR.
Talk to someone who can help — a friend, or someone trained for it.
A band on your wrist can remind you. It can't replace anyone.
- 15
One day is enough
You don't have to rebuild your life. You have to do this one day.
If it goes badly, there is another one tomorrow. That is not a setback. That is the build.
Start. Today is enough.
WICHTIG
Was dieses Band nicht kann
This bracelet is a reminder, not a remedy. If things have been hard for a while, talk to someone trained for it.
„A hand to the wrist. One breath. Keep going.“
